if i could go back in time i’d figure out how to grow up to be a cartographer …
Calendar
this is my third year of making a quick and easy wall calendar … eventually i’ll be able to reuse these … there are only 14 different “years,“ one for each starting day of the week plus the leap year version of same …
i looked up when i’d have all 14 done but i don’t remember it off the top of my head …
Priming the Pump ...
ok … so obviously i’m not great at regularly updating this … anyone wanna be my social media manager?
one of the big things i should have posted about was my birthday! i’m in another prime year …
and in further dumb word play one of the other things i was doing when i wasn’t posting here was redoing the pumps in our basement because the flip flop from snow to rain is making our flooding problem worse …
ok, now i’m going to prime this pump by dumping a bunch of photos and stuff in a few posts all at once … maybe i can get that momentum back up …
week heart
things are all over the place … but, i’m still on top of my journal … and even made this neat little nested hart thing this morning …
Happy Halloween!
my pumpkin aged pretty well this year …
While i was online with my gaming group this week i also worked on this little experiment. i’ve got a lot of old athletic shorts and the pattern of open dots in them always made me think of graph paper … and for a while i’ve been meaning to do a little sampler to see what kind of shapes and patterns i could make with it …
Cartography ...
Who needs a fancy light box when you’ve got a window that gets great light!
I have an online gaming group with some friends.
I got a folder for our new campaign (the town is called Sidetrack … but i messed up the spacing on the cover).
also, our DM makes maps with an online program, but i really like to take them and redo them with marker and pen.
