One of my favorite reclaimed materials to work with is the crumpled kraft paper used in most packages (my mom prefers the oddball size and shaped foam bits and pieces, but she’s more sculptural then i am … ) onto these works i usually apply a basic set of marker lines, and using the number of sides of the various figures i establish a rule, triangles are almost always black marker, one set of shapes often gets gold, the rest get paint(though usually it’s nail polish or white out) or collage materials.
